Future trend makes changes

Close to Magdeburg in the industrial park of Osterweddingen, Euroglas has built its 3rd ultra-modern float glass production site and has taken up its production in August 2006. Euroglas aims at securing and strengthening its independent position in the center of Europe by this additional float glass production site by serving customers not only from Germany, but also customers from East- and North- European countries. The building of the 3rd float glass production site had become necessary to meet the demands of the constant growing market.

Headstart by technology

In Osterweddingen, we can see the world’s 1st float glass production line, at which an automatic laser cuts the edging. Thanks to further trendsetting technologies, we are able to react faster on customer requirements. In Osterweddingen, we are able to produce float glass up to 19 mm thick. At the same time, we go for protection of our environment by using high-modern flue gas cleaning and energy recovery and invest in creative engineering services.
