Ujazd, located in central Poland, is seat of the largest and the youngest plant of EUROGLAS. The biggest furnace in the world was fired up at the beginning of July 2009 in the fourth float glass facility of the Glas Trösch group. At the end of July the first glass was successfully drawn. The capacity of 1000 tons per day should satisfied the market demand of Poland and East Europe as well as that of South and North Europe. Beside flat glass the plant will also produce coated glass. The new float glass facility is the most modern one of its kind in all of Europe.
