Start of construction
The first groundbreaking for the processing plant was on 29th September of 2008. The building project was terminated in nine months. The excavation started on 1st October of 2008.
- Basic informations of processing plant: 200 m long, 70 m wide, 10 m high
- Total area including green areas: 18.000 sq m.
- 2500 t native soil were removed
- Foundation with 15.000 t mineral mixture
Richtfest
EUROGLAS celebrated the richtfest for the processing plant on 4th December of 2008.
In the presence of the Minister of economic affairs Dr. Reiner Haseloff and transport minister Dr. Karl-Heinz Daehre the wreath for the new factory was placed.
Glace facade
On 20th January of 2009 the first glass was put in the facade. Overall the facade includes over 3.500 sqm.
The properties of the incorruptible SILVERSTAR COMBI Neutral 41/21 not only provide for comfortable temperatures in the plant itself. His aesthetic appeal ensures that EUROGLAS has an object that stands as a reference for the used glass.
Completition
In June 2009 the work was finished.
EUROGLAS has since now not only one of the most modern processing plants, but also a stylish and architecturally pleasing works of industrial design.
