EUROGLAS Poland enters into partnership with the Polish company Press-
Glas SA.
Euroglas (a legally independent subsidiary of Glas Trösch Holding AG whose parent
company is in Switzerland) has built the fourth, state-of-the-art float glass plant in the
commercial zone of Ujazd in Poland and started up production in August 2009. The
partner company is Press-Glas SA.
This production site will enable Euroglas and its associated partners to consolidate and
strengthen their position in Central Europe as an independent operator. As with the previous
production sites in Hombourg (Alsace/France), Haldensleben and Osterweddingen (Saxony-
Anhalt/Germany) this new plant will also be operated in conjunction with a partner.
This partner company is Press-Glas SA from Nowa-Wies near Czestochowa in Poland.

With a gross smelting capacity of approx. 1000 tons/per day and thanks to the advanced
technology used by the plant Euroglas will be able to respond flexibly and quickly to all
customer requirements and the needs of the market. Euroglas’s potential in terms of high
technology and innovation creates the products which are manufactured at the plant and are
amongst the best on the market.
