In the beginning of the Euroglas' history was an objective of the supply independence. In 1995 the firtst Euroglas float glass facility was established together with Glaswerken Arnold in Alsatian Hombourg. Erich Trösch, representative of the fourth generation of the Glas Trösch family enterprise, was the person in authority of foundation of the Hombourg plant and later also of that one in Haldensleben where the further parner Glas Nowak came in. Thus, for the first time in Europe, a middle-size company established successfully a glass plant independent on the big glass corporations. At the turn of 2005 and 2006 the third Euroglas factory in Osterweddingen was set up in partnership with Semcoglas- Gruppe as well as Glas Sprinz. Since then Euroglass has a further floating hut. This started working in the Polish Ujazd in the year 2009. Glass Trösch operates the plant in co-operation with the company Press Glas SA.

Our four float glass facilities could be distinguished as the most modern glassworks in the world.
