Partnerships

Achieving goals together

One specific goal marked the beginning of Euroglas' history: an independent glass supply for processing companies within the Glas Trösch Group and its partners. Ever since, we have been implementing this goal every day. For instance we established the first float glass plant in Hombourg (France) together with Glaswerke Arnold. Only two years later, Erich Trösch (representing the fourth generation of the Swiss family company), Glaswerke Arnold and Nowak Glas inaugurated the second float glass plant at the Haldensleben site in Germany. Last, but not least, a cooperation with Semcoglas Group and Glas Sprinz led to the establishment of the third plant in Osterweddingen (Germany) in 2006.

Expanding to Eastern Europe

We consistently continued with our targeted development that reached its preliminary culmination in August 2009 with the inauguration of the fourth float glass plant in Ujazd (Poland).
It is one of the world's largest plants and was established in collaboration with Press-Glas SA. Glas Trösch is consequently the first medium-sized company to have an autonomous basis for glass supplies.
